Summary

All it takes is one person to remember you。

A word of never fall in love with an Englishman in New York。 If you do, chances are that he’ll captivate your soul and never let you go。 Take me, for instance。 For the last thirteen years, I’ve heard “So This Is Love” on repeat every time I think of Simon Harrison。 If this is love, it kind of sucks。 Especially given that Simon only ever saw me as his friend before proceeding to marry my supposed best friend。 The worst part is that I thought for once in my life someone saw me。 That he saw me。 But I was wrong。 So wrong。

Or was I?

Thirteen years ago, I made a colossal mistake without even knowing it when I let Jules Carmichael disappear from my life。 I had no idea the woman I always thought of as my best mate could have been so much more if I’d only opened my eyes to see what was right in front of me。 But now that I find myself divorced and face-to-face with the lovely creature again, she wants nothing to do with me, and it’s driving me mad。 If she could only see that I’m not the daft younger man who let her slip away, I have a feeling we could have something unforgettable。

USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Peel presents an unforgettable long-lost friends to lovers story that will curl your toes and warm your heart。

Great Story!I have been looking forward to reading Simon and Julie's story and oh what a great story it is! Simon and Julie were great friends u til her ex best friend met Simon。 He basically didn't realize that Julie was in love with him and married her ex best friend。 They meet again years later after he was divorced and he realized what he had let go。 I won't go into detail because I don't want to spoil it! I am so glad to have read this book by Jennifer Peel。 Now I FINALLY know what Jules does for a living。 (It’s the little things that make me happy。 This book has a little bit of all things romance, a nasty ex, meddling parents and opinionated best friends。 Thank you to the author and narrator for another well done book with great characters。

Good StoryI was really looking for ward to this book and it did not disappoint。 I really felt for Jules in this story。 My heart just broke for her。 But I loved the way she made Simon chase her and work for a second chance。 Jack was absolutely adorable。

Aspen Lake (and its residents) is a place that has my heart。 We first met Jules in My Ex-Mas Emergency and I was so curious about her and her story。 Why is she so forgettable?I don’t know why it is that some people just can’t truly see others, and I think that’s a fact that every single person can relate to at one time or another。 My heart hurt for Jules and related to her because like her, I’ve felt like I’m forgettable, unseen and unimportant at times, but the growth and realizations she under Aspen Lake (and its residents) is a place that has my heart。 We first met Jules in My Ex-Mas Emergency and I was so curious about her and her story。 Why is she so forgettable?I don’t know why it is that some people just can’t truly see others, and I think that’s a fact that every single person can relate to at one time or another。 My heart hurt for Jules and related to her because like her, I’ve felt like I’m forgettable, unseen and unimportant at times, but the growth and realizations she undergoes are so beautiful and there are lessons in her lessons for everyone。 And the real fact is, Jules is a pretty amazing character。 In this book, Peel shows us just how sweet and memorable Jules actually is。 She has a top secret job, she loves deeply, she’s a super fun person to be around, and she’s like a princess–speaking to and attracting both children and animals。 I can’t say enough about Simon and Jack, as they are the epitome of acceptance and true love。 Who wouldn’t want a Simon in her life? Between the accent, silky smooth voice, the way he chases her…this man is gold。 The connections and interactions between Simon, Jules and Jack are what dreams are made of and will make your heart sing “so this is love。”This love story is big and deep, and completely unforgettable in all the ways。Content: mild romance (make outs, some innuendo); mild language*I received a complimentary copy。 All thoughts and opinions are my own and were voluntarily given。* 。。。more

I’m a Jennifer Peel fan and this book was no exception! I absolutely adored Jules and loved Simon as he journeyed through realizing his appreciation for Jules。 You didn’t have to read “My Ex-Mas Emergency” to read this book but if you did we get a lot more of Calista too! After reading the book “My Ex-mas Emergency” (where you first meet Jules) I was dying to get my hands on her story。 Jules is kind and smart and one of those people who somehow fails to receive the attention and love she so deserves, especially by those closest to her。 Your heart immediately aches for her, and you can’t help but root for her to find love and true happiness。 Jules is still searching for “home”- not a place but a person。Enter Simon, the only man she has ever truly loved, and things After reading the book “My Ex-mas Emergency” (where you first meet Jules) I was dying to get my hands on her story。 Jules is kind and smart and one of those people who somehow fails to receive the attention and love she so deserves, especially by those closest to her。 Your heart immediately aches for her, and you can’t help but root for her to find love and true happiness。 Jules is still searching for “home”- not a place but a person。Enter Simon, the only man she has ever truly loved, and things in her world begin to change。 He is a great dad, has the cutest son Jack (both with British accents), and learns quickly how much he lost when he let Jules fade from his life。 The book kept my attention and while my toes curled in delight at the swoony romance, my heart felt all the emotions as Jules came to learn she was never quite forgotten- there were so many tender moments with the people in her life! Love gave her the courage to find herself, to not forget her own worth。 I laughed, I cried, I sighed in dreamy delight, I felt Jules’ heartache and triumphs, and truly loved every minute。 Now I’m just so sad it’s over。 This story has wrecked me in the very best way! Lovely and unforgettable, that’s what it is。 。。。more

The world around me ceased to exist and I was immersed in all things Jules, Simon, and Jack! I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved these three! Jules and Simon have a bit of history together。 It all started in New York when Simon forgot his wallet and Jules ended up buying him a cup of coffee。 What happened next was the best 9 months of Jules' life。。。 until dear sweet, sweet little Penelope (read in the most sarcastic voice possible) pushed her way into Simon's life and Jules became a distant memory。 But a chance meeting on the beach ten years later has Cinderella and Joan Jett battling it out in Jules' head, Simon opening his eyes to see what could have been, little Jack going on endless adventures to help Princess Jewels remember the Daft Prince, and Fate taking control of it all to make sure the long awaited happily ever after finally happens。 All I can say is sit down, buckle up, and enjoy the rollercoaster ride called Forgettable in Every Way!Gah! You guys! I NEED a THOUSAND more pages of Jules, Simon, and Jack! I never wanted this book to end! Definitely one that I will be reading over and over and over and did I mention over again?! *dreamy sigh* Absolute PERFECTION! And it would be remise of me not to mention Calista。 Y'all。 I love her! And Calista is in that one。 And she's awesome! Calista is a secondary character in this book and I'm sooooo happy we got to see more about her and her friendship with Jules is the best! I was talking with one of my book friends who has also read this book, and we both said we want to be besties with Calista and Jules! They're the best and I know we'd have a blast, but more importantly, I know they'd always have my back and be there for me for anything! Thankfully I truly do have real friends like that。 But I think you'll want to be their besties as well when you read this book。 Just sayin'!And Simon, what to say about Simon? He definitely was very daft to begin with and I loved that he admitted that over and over again to Jules。 But sometimes a heart has been hurt and broken and hidden away that it needs time and proof。 And boy, oh boy, when Simon says he's going to pursue her, you're going to love what's in store! *smirks* So his daftness gets betters and you're going to love him。 And all that comes with him。 Let's just say that there are the best scenes in this book。 So many great adventures。 Bike riding, time at the lake, exploring the island, cleaning the garage, a tour around town, breakfast, a bee sting (mwahahaha), music (especially one specific Cinderella song *sigh*), Princess Jules, darling and adorable Jack (seriously melt my heart and bring on all the feelings), heartaches and healing, true love and soooo much more, especially the big reveal of if she is Jules the Spy or not (Calista is convinced *grins*)!!!Seriously, just get ready for a sweet love story with unforgettable characters who will tug at your heartstrings and have you cheering, laughing, snorting, crying and sighing throughout this book!Content: There are some mild swear words throughout the book (Simon is British and throws out some words)。 Kissing and mild innuendos。 I received a copy from the author。 But you can bet I'll be purchasing my own copy to sit upon my shelves! All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own。Happy Reading!!! 。。。more
